beautiful cabins, excellent views, hiking trails
The steep road is a real struggle when lugging bags!!! There's little isolation between cabins, making the atmosphere less cozy than expected. Bring plenty of warm clothes. the fireplace offers little warmth.

The views from the cabin were breathtaking, especially at dawn when
the sunlight peeked through the clouds. I loved the cozy atmosphere created by the fireplace, but the bathroom could have used a bit more attention to cleanliness.

What’s great and what’s not
The cabins are beautifully designed with fantastic views of the forest, and the restaurant serves delicious meals with generous portions. Hiking trails lead to stunning waterfalls and provide opportunities for birdwatching.
The location can be a bit tricky to find, especially without street signs, and it tends to get chilly at night, necessitating the use of heaters and extra blankets.

I had such a wonderful stay here, especially enjoying the cozy Triple Room with Balcony and relaxing by the gorgeous garden with vibrant flowers. There were so many spots to unwind, including a serene seating area and a charming little pond. The only hiccup was a brief miscommunication about my transport that left me waiting longer than expected, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 🌺

Had an amazing time with friends! We hiked to beautiful waterfalls and enjoyed delicious local meals. The cozy cabins are perfect for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Don’t forget to try the fresh fish! Definitely recommend visiting and experiencing the tranquil atmosphere.
We wanted to dine at a recommended restaurant, but it was closed. The owner was kind enough to open his kitchen just for us, which was great, but it was a little unexpected since we weren't staying there that day.

Single travelers looking for a cozy retreat
The cabins were surprisingly comfy, especially after a long day hiking the trails. One evening, as I relaxed by the fireplace, I felt really at home with the warmth of the surroundings and the hospitality of David and his family.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly, worth every penny.

I loved the cozy atmosphere at Las Cataratas Lodge. The cabins offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains and were comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hiking trails leading to beautiful waterfalls were a highlight for sure! I spotted hummingbirds everywhere, which made my nature-loving heart so happy. David, the owner, was super friendly, offering to help with anything we needed. On the downside, it got quite cold at night, and while there were plenty of extra blankets, the cabins could use better insulation for warmth. Also, the morning chill was a bit tough since the fan heater didn’t really cut it. But the beautiful setting and welcoming vibe more than made up for it.

A magical experience in nature
Our stay was truly memorable, surrounded by stunning mountain views and vibrant nature. The cozy cabin was more than we expected, with enough blankets to keep us warm on chilly nights. We enjoyed hiking on the beautiful trails and were enchanted by the chorus of hummingbirds buzzing around. The food served was fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious! However, sitting on the balcony can be a bit cold at times.
